The furniture is THONET style and numbers 16 marble top tables (10 round 6 square) and 70 dark brown bent-wood chairs. In 1982 Austria donated the original furniture for the then-known-as "Viennese Café".  In the context of the fiftieth anniversary of the United Nations the Austrian Government offered an extensive renovation of the Viennese Café - the furniture having suffered through intensive use.  There is an architectural model of the café located in 2B-92 - dimensions - 15 x 18 1/2 x 16 1/2 in.
