Zoya Anwer has been a journalist with Pakistan's leading daily, The News International, since 2016. As a reporter for the city desk of Karachi, she has covered many issues, from human rights to changing socio-political dynamics in the region. During the RAF Fellowship, Anwer looks forward to learning about how human rights issues are handled at the United Nations, with a particular focus on gender-based violence.
