César Rojas Ángel is a journalist and political scientist from Bogotá, Colombia. César has a background in political, cultural, and environmental issues. In Colombia, he has worked with France 24 in Spanish, Foundation for Press Freedom (FLIP), and Semana Magazine, among other media outlets and organizations. He has been at the frontier between Colombia and Venezuela covering migration in the Amazon rainforest and reporting on struggles of indigenous communities to protect their territories. César is a part of the UC Berkeley Graduate School of Journalism Fellow Class of 2023.​
