Entry and Visa requirements

Representatives are responsible for obtaining a visa and for acquiring the visas necessary for transit countries. The United Nations will not be able to assist in bearing any related costs or in obtaining the required visas.

The Government of Turkmenistan will facilitate the issuance of visas and will grant free visa to all registered participants to the LLDC3 Conference.

All participants who have successfully registered to attend LLDC3 must complete the separate Attendance Form https://lldc3.gov.tm/reg-form provided by the Host Country. Completion of the Attendance Form is mandatory for all participants, regardless of whether they require an entry visa to enter Turkmenistan.

The United Nations registration and the completion of the Attendance Form developed by the Host Country are two separate procedures, and both must be completed to ensure participation in the Conference and to facilitate necessary logistical arrangements in Turkmenistan.

Participants requiring an entry visa will receive a formal invitation letter issued by the State Migration Service of Turkmenistan after submitting the Attendance Form.

Participants who have received the formal invitation letter issued by the State Migration Service of Turkmenistan may obtain their visa stamp in one of the Embassies or Consulates of Turkmenistan abroad, or upon arrival at the border checkpoints in Turkmenistan. Participants must bring with them the formal invitation letter either printed or electronic.
