PACTs Programme for LDC Call for North-South Training

Application 

The Call for applications for North-South Biotechnology Policy and Regulatory Science Training is open and receiving applications until 30 November 2021.

Prospective Trainees can apply by logging into the application portal (below), filling in the online application form, uploading all supporting materials, and submitting their application materials before 30 November 2021 on the APPLICATION PORTAL

The UN Technology Bank for Least Developed CountriesTWAS and ICGEB  offer early-career scientists from the 46 least developed countries (LDCs), aged 45 or under, exchange visits of up to 6-months at the ICGEB laboratories in Trieste (Italy), New Delhi (India) and Cape Town (South Africa). 

Under the programme agreement called PACTs (ProgrAmme of CollaboraTions with LDCs), eligible students will be working in the fields of biomedicinebiotechnology and agriculture. The Programme also includes a third scheme to provide training in biotechnology policy and regulatory science by ICGEB experts, now open for applications.
