Renews the arms embargo, previously imposed by paragraph 20 of resolution 1493 and 1 of resolution 1596 (2005), on all non-governmental entities and individuals operating in the DRC territory until 31 December 2008; and decides that the measures on arms and technical training no longer apply to the Government of the DRC. Renews the measures on aviation and customs, as well as the travel ban and assets freeze on individual and entities pursuant to resolution 1596 (2005), 1649 (2006) and 1698 (2006) which now apply also to individuals operating in the DRC and committing serious violations of international law involving the targeting of women in situations of armed conflict. Extends the mandate of the Group of Experts for a period ending on 31 december 2008 and decides to review the sanctions regime no later than 31 December 2008, in light of the consolidation of the security situation in the DRC.
