In the session on “Leveraging regional perspectives for an inclusive and resilient recovery guided by the 2030 Agenda”, following a short video on the upcoming Regional Forums on Sustainable Development, the five Executive Secretaries of the Regional Commissions will showcase regional experiences of integrated approaches to SDG implementation and pandemic recovery and present messages emanating from the intergovernmental bodies in their respective regions.
The Executive Secretaries of Regional Commissions and Chairs of ECOSOC functional commissions and expert bodies will engage in a live, interactive exchange with Member States, the Bureau of the Council, Chairs and bureaux of other subsidiary bodies and Executive Secretaries of the regional commissions in the session on "Reflections on the work of ECOSOC Subsidiary Bodies".
