Readout of the President of the General Assembly’s meeting with H.E. Mr. Margus Tsahkna, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Estonia
The President of the General Assembly, H.E. Ms. Annalena Baerbock, met with H.E. Mr. Margus Tsahkna, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Estonia, on 25 September 2025.
They discussed the need to achieve peace in Ukraine in line with the United Nations Charter and to strengthen the United Nations through the UN80 reform process.
They also discussed the important role of the General Assembly, the selection process for the next Secretary-General and Estonia’s firm commitment to the United Nations.
