Side Event in the Margins of the ILW of the 78th session of the UN GA “International Law in Global Climate Governance: Implementation and Outlook”

On 26 October 2023, the United Nations Legal Counsel, Mr. Miguel de Serpa Soares, delivered a keynote address alongside Ambassador MA Xinmin, Director-General of the Department of Treaty Law of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of China, and Dr. Kamalinne Pinitpuvalod, Secretary-General of the Asian-African Legal Consultative Organization (AALCO). The side event in the margins of the 33^rd informal meeting of the Legal Advisers of the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the Member States of the United Nations, was organized by the Permanent Mission of the People’s Republic of China to discuss the topical issue of international law in global climate governance.
