    • At the invitation of the UK Foreign Office, the UN Legal Counsel, Mr. Miguel de Serpa Soares, participated in the “London Conference on International Law: States in Emergency - International Law at a Time of Reckoning”, which took place on 10 and 11 October 2022 in London.  The conference considered the role of international law in dealing with crises, and the impact of the current global situation on the international legal order as a whole.

    From 12 to 13 October 2022, Mr. Serpa Soares participated in an event on the “Oxford Process on International Law Protections in Cyberspace”.  The event brought together an interesting mix of international law academics and practitioners and culminated in the launch of a compendium which summarizes the insights of the “Oxford Process” so far.
