Equatorial Guinea graduated from the LDC category in 2017.
The Committee for Development Policy (CDP) recommended Kiribati for graduation in 2018. ECOSOC deferred its consideration of that recommendation to 2024.
Next step: for Kiribati to graduate, ECOSOC must endorse the CDP's recommendation. ECOSOC has decided to defer its decision to 2024.
