Amel Ghani is Lahore-based reporter for The Herald, a monthly magazine of politics and current affairs. She writes about politics, the environment and various cultural and social issues in Pakistan. Her most prominent work is a longform story on the nexus of politicians and their real estate investments in Lahore. Her stories focus on issues that are underreported or have fallen off the media radar. During the Fellowship, Amel looks forward to reporting on funding for the United Nations and UN development aid to Pakistan.
