What kinds of exhibits can I see at United Nations Headquarters in New York?
Expect to see photo and multimedia exhibits covering important topics that the UN works on, such as human rights, sustainable development, the climate action, women and girls, and more.
Can anyone visit the exhibits in the Lobby?
United Nations Headquarters is open to the public for guided tours only. Pre-booked tickets required for entry. Exhibits are on display in the Visitors' Lobby and can be visited after your tour.
In compliance with the New York City mandate, proof of COVID-19 vaccination (age 12+) and masks (age 2+) are required for all visitors to UNHQ.
Is photography permitted?
Yes, the use of photography (personal cameras, camera phones) is permitted. For media and related professionals, please visit the Media and Accreditation Unit website.
Is there a bag check or coatroom?
No, all coats and back packs must be carried while at the UN. Please note that all bags will be searched by security and large bags are not permitted.
What else is there to do at the UN?
