<p>21 September is the International Day of Peace — a day to stand in solidarity with all those denied it, and to call for ceasefires where wars continue to destroy lives and livelihoods, from Gaza to Sudan to Ukraine. To mark the occasion, we placed the UN Pavilion’s miniature Peace Bell outside the Pavilion and were grateful to the representatives of many other pavilions at the Expo who joined us in ringing it. Hundreds of visitors also took part, enthusiastically ringing the Peace Bell and adding their voices to the call for peace where it is absent.</p>
