<p>The UN Pavilion team was delighted to welcome Secretary-General António Guterres to the Expo for the UN Special Day. The Secretary-General delivered his remarks in front of more than 500 participants, including fellow Commissioners-General and representatives of other pavilions, representatives from the Japanese government, the Japan Association for the 2025 World Exposition, and various collaborators of the UN Pavilion. The visit was also an opportunity to reaffirm the strong ties between the UN and Japan. The Japanese delegation, including Her Imperial Highness Princess Tsuguko of Takamado joined us in visits to both the Japan and the UN Pavilion. </p>
