Coinciding with the International Day of Youth, this event will feature an intergenerational dialogue exploring how different forms of art and storytelling have contributed to this legacy, and to discuss how the next generations can carry it forward. Facilitated by United Nations Under-Secretary-General and High Representative for Disarmament Affairs, Izumi Nakamitsu, the event will include an interactive panel discussion with atomic bomb survivor Ms. Koko Kondo; documentary filmmaker Mr. Taku Nishimae; peace artist Ms. Anju Niwata; and Mr. Hayato Yamashita, alumnus of UNODA’s UNODA Youth Leader Fund for a World Without Nuclear Weapons.
