Thank you for the interest in the United Nations presence at Expo 2025 in Osaka, Kansai, Japan.

A visit to our UN Pavilion at Expo 2025 in Osaka, Kansai, or our virtual UN Pavilion , will enable you to explore the United Nations’ 80-year history of advancing peace, human rights, sustainable development, and climate action and see how the work of the UN system impacts everyone's life everywhere today.

Experience a vision of a peaceful, prosperous and a sustainable future that is feasible when we act in unity for people and planet. The UN Pavilion will also host temporary exhibits and programming events that showcase the work of UN entities worlwide represented in the UN pavilion.

You can also learn about ways in which you too can be part of global effort to create a future in which everyone thrives in peace, dignity and equality on a healthy planet!

Celebrating World Oceans Day with Mascots

In celebration of World Oceans Day, Commissioner-General of the UN Pavilion joined a gathering at the Canada Pavilion together with various mascots including Myaku-Myaku, where he emphasized the importance of sustainably managing the world's oceans.

The International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD), a specialized agency of the United Nations, established the “IFAD Youth Club Japan (IYCJ)” in 2024. Since then, IFAD and IYCJ have been actively working to raise awareness about global challenges related to food and agriculture.
This event offers a unique opportunity to engage in dialogue on the pressing global issue of food loss. Join IFAD staff, student members of IYCJ, and experienced panellists from the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries of Japan (MAFF) and the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) for an open and interactive discussion.
Together, let’s explore diverse perspectives and ideas on how we can tackle this urgent challenge.

Introducing the "Sustainable Coffee Production Project in Tanzania", a collaborative initiative between the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD), the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries of Japan, UCC Ueshima Coffee Co., Ltd., and Marubeni Corporation, and discussing the future and sustainability of the coffee industry, which has been becoming vulnerable due to complex issues like climate change. Also, there will be a Tanzanian coffee tasting social organized by UCC.
