Description
In a volatile and complex world, governments must transform public sectors to deliver more inclusive, effective, and sustainable services.
This project will support five countries directly and, through platform and global events, benefit up to 25 more by strengthening reforms, innovation, and enabling environments. It focuses on developing skills, shifting mindsets toward systems thinking and foresight, and promoting innovation in governance. Building on the High Impact Initiative (HII, FutureGov) on public sector transformation adopted at the SDG Summit in September 2023 (co-led by UNDESA and UNDP and the collaboration of the World Bank), it aims to advance SDG 5, SDG 16, and SDG 17.
