Periodically, United Nations offices around the world review the conditions of their fleets and determine the vehicles that are eligible to be retired. According to the United Nations policy, UN vehicles used primarily in urban areas are typically disposed of after seven years of use.
Interested UNHQ staff members across United Nations Secretariat entities, agencies, funds and programmes, as well as permanent missions, are invited to bid on one or more of the five used UN vehicles by 11:00 on 4 August 2023.
The vehicles will be staged on the service drive of the 3rd Basement Garage in the Conference Building. Bidders are required to inspect the vehicles in person or by virtual attendance before submitting their bid. Make sure to follow the Guidelines for Vehicles’ Inspections to schedule the inspections.
The vehicles can be viewed daily from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. starting Tuesday, 25 Jully until Friday, 28 July.
