The Secretary-General met with H.E. Ms. Sheikh Hasina, Prime Minister of Bangladesh, on the margins of the World Future Energy Summit in Abu Dhabi, in the United Arab Emirates, on 18 January. Their discussion focused, among other matters, on Bangladesh's democratization process, its troop contribution to the United Nations peacekeeping operations and climate change.
