The CSD-12 Partnerships Fair provided
a venue for showcasing progress in existing Partnerships
for Sustainable Development, launching new partnerships
and networking among existing and potential partners.
The Partnerships Fair gave participants an opportunity
to network, create synergies between partnerships, identify
new partners and funding sources, and learn from each
other's experiences.
The Partnerships Fair was an official
activity of CSD-12 and a summary of its activities was
included in the report of CSD-12. A number
of different types of activities were held as part of
the Partnerships Fair:
- Partnerships presentations
- Interactive Discussions on the CSD-12
Thematic Cluster (water, sanitation, and human settlements)
and on practical issues related to partnerships
- Information desks
- Video screenings
- A poster exhibit
