 Partnerships Fair

Participants'

Guide & Schedule

[word]

The CSD-12 Partnerships Fair will provide a venue for showcasing progress in existing Partnerships for Sustainable Development, launching new partnerships and networking among existing and potential partners.  The Partnerships Fair will give participants an opportunity to network, create synergies between partnerships, identify new partners and funding sources, and learn from each other's experiences.

The Partnerships Fair is an official activity of CSD and a summary of its activities will be included in the report of CSD-12.  It will take place at UN Headquarters in New York from 19-30 April 2004 with sessions running on most days from 10.00am to 1.00pm and from 3.00pm to 6.00pm.  A number of different types of activities will be held as part of the Partnerships Fair:

  • Partnerships presentations

  • Interactive Discussions on the CSD-12 Thematic Cluster (water, sanitation, and human settlements) and on practical issues related to partnerships

  • Information desks

  • Video screenings

  • A poster exhibit

Note that, in accordance with UN regulations, all participants at the Partnerships Fair and other CSD activities and events will need to be accredited with the UN to attend the CSD as either a government delegate or as a representative from an accredited Major Group, UN Agency or other Inter-Governmental Organisation.  Click here for more information about the accreditation of Major Group organizations.

Please see the documents at the top of the page for more information about the Partnerships Fair.
