Capacity Development and Advisory Services
Senegal
DPAD implemented capacity development and advisory activities in Senegal from 2009-2011, aiming to strengthen the analytical capacities of national experts and policy makers with regard to design of MDG financing strategies. Training in the use of an integrated macro-micro modelling framework was provided. The framework is expected to become a tool for policy decision-making.
Capacity development in Senegal has been implemented with support from the Consortium pour la Recherche Economique et Sociale (CRES) and the Institut de Recherche pour le Développement (IRD). DPAD collaborated closely with the United Nations Development Program country office in Senegal for administrative support.
