SDG Roundtable with Deputy Secretary-General, SDG Advocate, and UNDEF's Project Partners

During CSW67, UNDEF hosted a segment of the SDG roundtable series on a conversation with the Deputy Secretary-General and participants regarding innovation for women and equality. The conversation focuses on digital transformation with women at the forefront of innovation, technology, and education for the SDGs. It also raises questions on how we can ensure that the internet, social media, and technological advances can catalyze SDG 5: Gender Equality forward and not deepen existing inequalities.

Participants include:  Amina J. Mohammed, UN Deputy Secretary-General; and UNDEF Project Partners; Dr. Abiola Akiyode-Afolabi, Executive Director, Women Advocate Research & Documentation Center; and  Hoda Osman, Executive Editor at Arab Reporters for Investigative Journalism. On-line participation by Valentina Muñoz Rabanal, SDG Advocate and youth feminist activist and digital rights advocate; and Helani Galpaya, Chief Executive Officer, LIRNEasia.
