The Special Adviser to the Secretary General on Gender Issues and Advancement of Women and the Principal Social Affairs Officer in OSAGI take every opportunity to advocate for gender mainstreaming and provide information on progress in intergovernmental processes, to Member States, NGOs and research institutions.
