High-Level Meeting to Commemorate the 30th Anniversary of the 4th World Conference on Women

Pursuant to resolution A/RES/79/288, the President of the General Assembly of the United Nations will convene a High-Level Conference on the Thirtieth Anniversary of the Fourth World Conference on Women on 22 September 2025, at the United Nations Headquarters in New York.

The theme of the high-level meeting of the General Assembly will be “Recommitting to, resourcing and accelerating the implementation of the Beijing Declaration and Platform for Action to achieve gender equality and the empowerment of all women and girls” and that this meeting will highlight achievements, best practices, gaps and challenges.
 

Relevant non-governmental organizations, including civil society organizations, academic institutions, and the private sector, whose work is relevant to the High-Level Meeting, are invited to participate.
