On 3 December 2025, the United Nations will commemorate the International Day for Persons with Disabilities under the theme Forward, NOT Fragmented – Take Action 

Co-hosted by DPO and ODA with the support of Algeria, Austria and New Zealand, this exhibit will be the final Member State and public outreach activity in support of the Secretary-General’s campaign on humanitarian disarmament.      

The UN Global Advocate for persons with disabilities in conflict and peacebuilding situations, Mr. Giles Duley, in his last appearance as the UN Global Advocate will participate.
