Synopsis:
24 covers 24 hours in the life of Jack Bauer, a counter-terrorist agent played by Kiefer Sutherland. Season 8 focused on a plot to assassinate the President of the fictional Islamic Republic of Kamistan during peace negotiations with the U.S. President. The negotiations – and a substantial part of the action – took place at the UN Headquarters, although none of the scenes were actually filmed there. The series, produced by Twentieth Century Fox Television and broadcast on Fox, reached a weekly audience from 8 to 11.5 million viewers in the U.S.
