Amadou Boubacar Cisse is Vice President of Operations of the Islamic Development Bank, overseeing the planning and implementation of the Bank's long-term financing activities in 56 member countries under its strategic framework, which puts poverty alleviation at the core of its operations. Dr. Cisse has spent some three decades as a public servant, both at the World Bank Group and in Niger, where he served as Prime Minister and Senior Minister of Finance, Economic Reforms and Planning.
