Tenth Ministerial Conference of the Least Developed Countries (LDCMC10)

The Tenth Ministerial Conference of the Least Developed Countries (LDCMC10) will strengthen commitments towards the implementation of the Doha Programme of Action by bringing together a variety of partners to explore innovative strategies and solutions for sustainable industrialization of the Least Developed Countries.

The Tenth Ministerial Conference of the LDCs presents a historical moment. It is held after the Fifth United Nations Conference on the Least Developed Countries (LDC5), held from 5-9 March in Doha, Qatar. The Doha Programme of Action (DPoA), adopted at LDC5, calls upon the United Nations development system entities to “actively support the implementation and integrate the programme of action into their strategic plans and annual work programmes and reporting at all levels”.

The conference is co-organised by UNIDO, OHRLLS, the Organization of African, Caribbean and Pacific States (OACPS), the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD), the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC), and the United Nations Technology Bank for the Least Developed Countries.
