The Guna Yala, an archipelago of over 300 islands off the northeast coast of Panama, are home to the Guna people, an indigenous community. The islands are highly vulnerable to climate change – it is projected that they may be uninhabitable in 20 years. The thousands of members of the community could be the first indigenous people to be displaced due to rising sea levels.
