Africa Day at the High-Level Political Forum (HLPF) on Sustainable Development 2025 takes place on 23 July and comprises the Ministerial Meeting and launch of the Africa Sustainable Development Report 2025
African Member States will share best practices and lessons learned and present their Voluntary National Reviews (VNRs) on implementing the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals and the African Union Agenda 2063.
The Africa Sustainable Development Report will assess Africa’s performance on the goals, related targets, and indicators of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, taking into account the corresponding goals, targets, and indicators of Agenda 2063. Using the latest data from international sources, the report tracks performance and highlights lessons learned in implementing the two agendas.
Participation is open to all, including Member States, policymakers, civil society, academia and the media.
