Participants at annual meeting of indigenous persons at UN Headquarters in New York. Over 1200 indigenous peoples from all regions of the world gathered at the UN to advocate for their rights and work with the UN on issues including youth, health and climate change. Quatre portraits de participants à la réunion annuelle de l’Instance permanente de l’ONU sur les questions autochtones (UNPFII). L’Instance permanente des Nations Unies sur les questions autochtones se réunit pendant 10 jours chaque année, au Siège de l’ONU à New York. Il s’agit d’un organe consultatif de haut niveau qui traite des questions autochtones sur le développement économique et social, la culture, l’environnement, l’éducation, la santé et les droits humains.
