The Department of Operational Support would like to inform you that effective Monday, 19 May 2025, café prices will increase by approximately 5% in general. However, there is a group of 15 items or so including small coffee, espresso, as well as the lunch buffet, etc. that need to be increased by more than 5% as they have been significantly underpriced over the years.
The price increase is in keeping with inflation to mitigate rising costs of food, labour, and other direct costs associated with the catering operation. It will help reduce the subsidy currently paid by the UN to provide these services.
