Synopsis: 

In March 2016, the popular CBS drama Madam Secretary filmed scenes at the United Nations for an episode entitled Ghost Detainee. In the episode, the title character, played by UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador Téa Leoni, delivers her first speech to the United Nations General Assembly condemning a terrorist group. Following the speech, she catches up to the Russian Foreign Minister in the Visitors' Lobby where they discuss forming a coalition against the group. The episode was seen by more than 9.5 million viewers in the United States.

CCOI's Role:

CCOI provided feedback on the script, secured permission for Madam Secretary to film at UN Headquarters, coordinated the negotiation of a location agreement between the UN and Eye Productions Inc., and made all logistical arrangements for the on-location filming.
