Synopsis:
Over the course of a week in mid-September 2015, CCOI facilitated filming at UNHQ by the Spanish national broadcaster Radiotelevisión Española (RTVE)'s En Portada series. The 40-minute programme, entitled Viaje al centro de la ONU (Journey to the center of the UN) featured a behind-the-scenes look at the work of the Organization, from the Security Control Centre and the cleaning staff to the broadcast engineers and the interpreters. The airing of the series coincided with the 70th anniversary of the UN.
CCOI's Role:
CCOI secured permission for En Portada to film at UN Headquarters, made logistical arrangements and coordinated the participation of UN personnel in the on-location filming.
