In partnership with Fox Searchlight Pictures, CCOI organized a screening of the Academy Award-nominated film Brooklyn, a 1950s historical drama that tells the tale of an Irish immigrant adjusting to life in New York. The screening was followed by a conversation about the modern-day challenges relating to migration.
