The Secretary-General condemns the attack today in Tunis against a bus carrying Presidential Guards, which resulted in many deaths and injuries. He offers his condolences to the families of the victims and the people and Government of Tunisia.

The Secretary-General reiterates that the United Nations will continue to stand with the people of Tunisia as they confront the scourge of terrorism and continue to consolidate and strengthen their democracy.

Le Secrétaire général condamne l’attaque qui a eu lieu aujourd’hui à Tunis contre un bus transportant des membres de la garde présidentielle, faisant de nombreux morts et de blessés. Il présente ses condoléances aux familles des victimes ainsi qu’au peuple et au gouvernement tunisiens.

Le Secrétaire général réitère que les Nations Unies continueront à être aux côtés du peuple tunisien dans sa lutte contre le fléau du terrorisme et dans ses efforts pour consolider et renforcer sa démocratie.
