The Secretary-General met today with H.E. Dr. Khalid Bin Mohammed Al-Attiyah, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the State of Qatar, in the margins of the Thirteenth International United Nations Congress on Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice.

The Secretary-General and the Foreign Minister discussed several regional issues of mutual concern, including how to advance political processes in Yemen and Syria. The Secretary-General also thanked Qatar for its support to refugees in Lebanon.
