The Secretary-General met today with H.E. Mr. Seong-Kyu Yoon, Minister of Environment of the Republic of Korea, on the sidelines of the United Nations Climate Change Conference.

The Secretary-General urged the Republic of Korea, which hosts the Green Climate Fund (GCF), to continue its leadership in helping to build bridges between developed and developing countries.

He also encouraged the country to continue its efforts towards securing a meaningful, universal climate agreement in Paris next year.
