The Secretary-General met at the Pentagon this morning with H.E. Mr Chuck Hagel, the United States Defense Secretary .

They discussed the US contribution to UN peacekeeping, UN peacekeeping reform and new technology and innovation.

They also discussed the international commitment to Afghanistan and the Central African Republic.
