The Secretary-General met today with H.E. Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, Prime Minister of Cambodia.

They discussed UN-ASEAN cooperation, Cambodia’s participation in peacekeeping operations, human rights and democratic governance issues in Cambodia, as well as the recent elections. The Secretary-General emphasized the importance of the work of the Extraordinary Chambers in the Courts of Cambodia (ECCC) and his expectation that all financial obligations be met.
