The Secretary-General met with President Morales. The Secretary-General commended Bolivia for integrating the perspective of indigenous peoples into its policies.  He urged that efforts should be redoubled to implement effective natural resource policies and ensure prior consultation mechanisms.  They discussed Bolivia’s patriotic agenda of development. The Secretary-General encouraged Bolivia to remain engaged in the definition of the post-2015 development agenda.
