The Secretary-General met with the President of Colombia, Mr Juan Manuel Santos Calderón. They discussed the on-going peace process between the Government of Colombia and the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC).

They also discussed Colombia’s progress on the MDG’s as well as its contribution to building a post-2015 development agenda.  President Santos hand-delivered a letter, also signed by Costa Rica and Panama, concerning maritime issues in the Caribbean Sea.
