The Secretary-General met yesterday with H.E Mr. Mr. Joseph Kabila Kabange, President of the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC).

The Secretary-General commended President Kabila’s sustained commitment to finding a durable solution to the crisis in eastern DRC. 

The Secretary-General reaffirmed the United Nations commitment to working closely with the Government in addressing remaining challenges.
