The Secretary-General met with H.E. Mr. Mahamat Saleh Annadif, Minister of State of Foreign Affairs, Chadians Abroad and International Cooperation of the Republic of Chad.  
The Secretary-General thanked Chad for its hospitality and generosity towards refugees, especially those fleeing the conflict in the Sudan. The Secretary-General and the Minister discussed the unfolding political transition in Chad and the importance of a continued inclusive approach. They also discussed the regional context, including the situation in the Sudan, Libya and Niger.  The Secretary-General reiterated the United Nations commitment to support the transition in Chad.

Le Secrétaire-général a rencontré S.E. M. Mahamat Saleh Annadif, Ministre d'État, Ministre des Affaires étrangères, des Tchadiens de l'Étranger et de la Coopération internationale de la République du Tchad.  
Le Secrétaire général a remercié le Tchad pour son hospitalité et sa générosité envers les réfugiés, en particulier ceux fuyant le conflit au Soudan.
