The Secretary-General met with H.E. Mr. Alejandro Giammattei Falla, President of the Republic of Guatemala. The Secretary-General and the President exchanged views on the ongoing transition process in Guatemala. They also discussed the situation in Ukraine and Haiti. The Secretary-General welcomed Guatemala’s contribution to peacekeeping operations.

El Secretario General se renió con el Excelentísimo Señor Alejandro Giammattei Falla, Presidente de la República de Guatemala. El Secretario General y el Presidente intercambiaron opiniones sobre el proceso de transición en curso en Guatemala. También abordaron la situación en Ucrania y Haití. El Secretario General agradeció la contribución de Guatemala a las operaciones de mantenimiento de la paz.
