The Secretary-General met with H.E. Mr. Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Cuba. They discussed the situation both in the region and globally, including challenges like inequality, climate change, development financing and the war in Ukraine. They exchanged views on developments in the region, among them the situation in Haiti and the peace process in Colombia. They further discussed about cooperation between the UN and Cuba and about the sanctions imposed by the United States.

El Secretario General se reunió con S.E. Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla, Ministro de Relaciones Exteriores de la República de Cuba. Discutieron acerca de la situación tanto en la región como a nivel global, incluyendo desafíos como la desigualdad, el cambio climático, financiación para el desarrollo y la guerra en Ucrania. Intercambiaron puntos de vista sobre desarrollos en la región, entre ellos la situación en Haiti y el proceso de paz en Colombia. Discutieron además sobre la cooperación entre las Naciones Unidas y Cuba y sobre las sanciones impuestas por los Estados Unidos.
