The Secretary-General met with H.E. Dr. Vivian Balakrishnan, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Singapore. The Secretary-General commended Singapore’s support to multilateralism and strong cooperation with the United Nations.

The Secretary-General and the Minister of Foreign Affairs also exchanged views on matters pertaining to global peace and security, including the situation in Myanmar, as well as the conflict in Ukraine and its impacts on global food and energy security.
