The Secretary-General met with H. E. Mr. Stephen Harper, Prime Minister of Canada.  They discussed several issues including the situations in Syria, Haiti, Mali, Somalia, North Korea as well as the Middle East peace process.

The Secretary-General thanked Canada for its commitment to these and other multilateral issues. He also thanked Prime Minister Harper for his personal commitment to promote women’s and children’s health around the world.
